Coalition to Protect American Workers Welcomes Gene Hamilton as Senior Advisor
Washington, D.C. — The Coalition to Protect American Workers (CPAW) today announced the addition of Gene Hamilton, President and Co-Founder of America First Legal, as Senior Advisor. Hamilton will provide strategic guidance on CPAW’s efforts to advance pro-worker, pro-growth reforms and restore constitutional balance in labor policy.
Hamilton brings decades of experience at the highest levels of government, including service as Deputy White House Counsel to President Donald J. Trump, Counselor to the Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice, and Senior Counselor to the Secretary of Homeland Security. His background in law and policy positions him to help CPAW confront federal overreach and strengthen protections for American workers.
“Gene Hamilton has been at the forefront of some of the most consequential fights to uphold fairness, accountability, and constitutional order,” the organization said in a statement. “His addition reflects CPAW’s continued commitment to ensuring that America’s labor system serves workers—not political insiders or unelected bureaucrats.”
“I am honored to join the Coalition to Protect American Workers,” said Gene Hamilton. “Every American deserves a system that rewards hard work, respects individual choice, and keeps power where it belongs: with the people. The federal government’s role should be to protect American workers—not to serve political interests or union leadership."
Hamilton currently serves as President of America First Legal, an organization he co-founded with Stephen Miller, which is now the nation’s leading organization dedicated to fighting for the American people, defending the Constitution, and saving America. He holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
