CPAW Applauds Long-Awaited D.C. Circuit Decision in Trump Removal of Biden NLRB Appointee

Washington, D.C. — The Coalition to Protect American Workers (CPAW) applauds today's long-awaited U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruling in Wilcox v. Trump. The court correctly upheld President Donald Trump’s decision to remove Gwynne Wilcox, a Biden-appointed member of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

Gene Hamilton, Senior Advisor to CPAW, issued the following statement on the ruling:

“Today’s ruling is a win for American workers. President Donald Trump has led the way in removing partisan bad actors who turned powerful boards into political instruments. The era of union leaders acting like fundraising arms of the Democrat Party is over, and the NLRB can now return to its core mission: serving workers, not politicians.”
