CPAW Launches New Ad Spotlighting a Pro-Worker Course Correction at the NLRB Under the Trump Administration
“New Day” will run on digital and CTV platforms in DC.
Washington, D.C. — The Coalition to Protect American Workers (CPAW) today released “New Day,” a 30-second advertisement highlighting a course correction at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) that restores worker choice, free speech, and due process in the workplace.
As first reported in the Washington Examiner, “New Day” draws a clear contrast between the Biden administration’s politicized NLRB that empowered union leadership’s political agendas and President Trump's pro‑worker approach that puts employees back at the center of labor policy. The message is straightforward: it’s a new day for American workers, with an NLRB focused on fairness and freedom in the workplace.
The spot will run on digital and CTV platforms in Washington, D.C.
In December 2025, the U.S. Senate confirmed Scott Mayer and James Murphy as members of the NLRB and Crystal Carey as General Counsel, marking a realignment toward worker choice and due process.
Gene Hamilton, Senior Advisor to CPAW, issued the following statement: “New Day is about putting American workers back in charge of their own future. For too long, the system elevated political insiders over the people who actually do the work. We thank President Trump for his leadership and for restoring balance at the NLRB, protecting secret‑ballot elections, defending the right to hear from both sides, and ensuring due process. When American workers have real information and a real vote, they win—and so does America’s economy.”
The ad is part of CPAW’s broader campaign to advance pro‑worker, pro‑growth reforms and to educate policymakers and the public about the importance of worker choice, secret‑ballot elections, and First Amendment protections in workplace debates.
Transcript:
“The DC swamp is hostile to American workers. Take Joe Biden’s National Labor Relations Board—the NLRB. Biden used this group to give more power to his top allies, union leadership, putting political power over workers. Not anymore. Thanks to President Trump, it is a new day. Trump’s NLRB will put workers first, restoring fairness and freedom in the workplace. Thank you, President Trump, for protecting workers all across America.”
